Can you afford or access flood insurance?

The 2022 floods affected around 1 in 100 homes in South East Queensland. This added to housing shortages and displacement. The event resulted in $2 billion of losses to residential and commercial properties. Over 30% of these were uninsured. The availability and affordability of insurance is becoming a key issue for land use planning across Queensland.
